Join one of Mad Dogs and Englishmen's 2-day comprehensive skijör clinics and learn the fundamentals of this amazing sport. This clinic is designed to give you and your K-9 friend a foundation of skills, and knowledge, to comfortably get out on the trails together. Now you can enjoy all the benefits this sport has to offer!
Split into 3 main sections; a classroom section, a skills section, and finally a touring section. This clinic allows you and your dog to build on skills and techniques needed to get out there. Our instructors are CANSI trained and avid skijör enthusiasts themselves. They look forward to sharing their knowledge with you.
The 2-day package includes two full days of training, all skijör equipment, and all food and beverages including: breakfasts, snacks, lunches. There is also a final wrap-up reception at the Mad Dog Cafe & Market in Dead Man's Flats.
If you don't have a dog, or not sure of how your dog will do in a group situation, you can still take this course. Mad Dogs & Englishmen have several great skijör dogs you can use to learn the skills, and then transfer to your own dog.
Clinics are scheduled once a month during the winter season or can be organized privately for a group of 6

Don't have your own dog? Don't know how your dog will do in a group situation? Mad Dogs & Englishmen have several great skijöring dogs you can use to learn the skills.
Transportation to Kananaskis is not included, but may be arranged from Canmore, or from our booking office at The Mad Dog Cafe & Market in Dead Man's Flats. An additional charge will apply. Pricing varies depending on group size.
